One year of sheltering-in-place and counting…
I don’t know how you cope with staying at home in the dead of winter with restaurants closed and friendships limited to Zoom. I’m finding it’s a real challenge—and I’m an inveterate introvert.
So here’s how I’ve coped: I’ve used my time to learn the fundamentals of screenwriting.
(That and feeding eighty wild birds. Yes, we count them…)
Just for kicks, my daughter Jessica Cavoretto and I made a short film, using her amazing acting skills and my fledgling screenwriting ability.
The bad news is, the movie is a bit dark. But hey, that’s my paranormal side showing through. The good news is, it’s only six minutes long. I hope you’ll take a moment to watch it and let me know if you “get” what we are trying to say in this short film. You can leave a comment below.
I’m looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
